Overview
Eenchokay Birchstick School strives to support our students and their learning while giving them opportunities to include their interests and learning styles. Our students learn based on the Ontario Curriculum and use strategies to help them reach their full potential. Our goal at Eenchokay Birchstick School is to create life-long learners through age-appropriate materials, Anishinaabe cultural practices and language acquisition. It is our goal to ensure that our students develop the necessary knowledge, skills and perspectives to see themselves in the programming.
Our students are also able to gain experiences through extracurricular activities/clubs that are run by community members and staff. These activities are designed to help our students learn more about themselves and their peers in a healthy environment.
