Attendance

At Eenchokay Birchstick School our Attendance Team (AT) monitors and analyzes our student’s attendance. They work alongside teachers to ensure that students are receiving the necessary supports and services to be successful in school.

The AT monitors student tardiness and attendance to help develop actions plans for students while providing families with the necessary supports they require to encourage good attendance. The AT is working towards determining barriers that are in place that are preventing students from attending school while coming up with solutions to break down these barriers. Our AT works alongside the school Teachers, Counselors, Nurses, Student Support Services, Administrators and other staff to create goals on improving student attendance.
